Welcome to My Void!
My name is Elias, welcome to my early-2000s, geo-cities style website.
I am a poet, academic, and visual artist. I work with written text, typography, artist books, zines, linocuts, and some other stuff.
Primarily, my academic interests are poetry, early modern English literature, literary criticism, and critical theory, but I dabble
in other things too, like philosophy of mind and digital humanities.
Until recently, I adjuncted in the Writing Departments of Montclair State University and Rutgers University - Newark. Currently, I am a PhD student in the English
department at the University of Maryland.
I hold an MFA in from Columbia University where I served as Print Poetry Editor for Columbia Journal Issue 59
and as a Teaching Fellow in the undergraduate creative writing program.
Before, in another life, I attended Cornell University where I studied entomology and ecology.
In my free time I enjoy stragety tabletop games, animation, mathematics, studying internet culture, listening to music,
and chronically overthinking. (edit: we are fixing that last thing now)
